Please pray for my husband Jerry. He had vascular surgery on his leg this past Wednesday. He keeps bleeding from his incision area on his groin. He is at the VA hospital in Houston. The Drs have been here off and on working on him. He may need to go back to surgery. He is a very private person but needs prayer for healing.

Being a step parent has really taken it\'s toll on me emotionally. I feel like I\'m in a corner that I can\'t back out of. Not sure what to do. I feel like I\'m in the middle of a constant battle between people who shouldn\'t have a roll in our family but I have no control or say.

Update on Julio Aguilar's great granddaughters:

Jessie is off Oxygen. Doing well and may go home this weekend.

Jasmine has been seizure-free for more than 24 hrs – she is on 3 different Rx’s for seizures. Still on supplemental Oxygen but breathing on her own. May discontinue induced coma today.

Julio and family send their heartfelt gratitude for your prayers.

From Julio Aquilar:

My 4-month old great-grand daughter, my daughter Elena’s grandchild, Jasmine Rogers, stopped breathing Friday afternoon and has been having seizures since. She was Life-flighted to Texas Women and Children’s Hospital in Houston, ICU. It seems that new medication yesterday is finally controlling the seizures. MRI’s, CAT Scans and spinal tap reveal no abnormalities. Not sure how long her brain was deprived of oxygen. She is now in an induced coma and constantly being monitored by EEG. Ophthalmologist reports no bleeding or swelling in eyes but can’t determine whether she can see due to induced coma. She had been spiking fevers periodically; yesterday the “coolers” and wet towels were discontinued and she has been able to control temp on her own.

Her twin, Jessie, was also admitted to hospital yesterday with pneumonia but her lungs are clearing and she is doing much better. Before she was admitted, her parents “snuck” Jessie in to lie with her sister (with duty nurse’s permission) and mom, Gabrielle, reported that Jasmine’s pulse immediately calmed. Jasmine is now maintaining a healthy pulse on her own, also. Had been racing periodically first few days.

Pediatrician reports that initial EEG was “almost flat-line” but recent readings show a lot of activity. Brain damage may be minimal or severe. No way to determine or gauge possible deficits at this time.

We appreciate your prayers for Jasmine, Jessie, their family and all of their care-givers.

Please pray for our best friend Julio Aquilar's great grand daughters Jasmyn and Jessie Colbert,

Jasmine and Jessie are 3 month old twin girls. Jasmyn was admitted Saturday with breathing problems and seizures. Jessie was admitted last night with RSV.

Jasmyn's chest apparently had air that was not allowing for her little lungs to work. Both are in very critical condition.

Thank you for your prayers.

Winnie, Vincent & Julio

I'm having some tests done next Monday and a possible biopsy to follow later on my breast. I would appreciate the prayers. My mother died just a year ago from breast cancer, so I am little anxious over all of it. Thank you for your prayers.
